The Linden Litter League is an annual community beautification program organized by Greater Linden Development Corporation and modeled after Little League baseball. Adults, teens, and youth form teams and choose designated areas within Greater Linden’s boundaries as their home fields. The teams compete by keeping their home fields clean, picking up litter at least once a month throughout the summer, from April through August. Bags, gloves, and other supplies are provided by Keep Columbus Beautiful.
Linden Litter League makes picking up litter fun by providing team t-shirts, prizes and giveaways throughout the season. The season schedule includes a mid-season All-Star Break cook-out and a season-ending celebration. Last year, eighteen Litter League teams picked up over 850 bags and four truckloads of trash, making Linden cleaner and healthier.
You can join in the fun and help keep Linden clean by forming a Litter League team of your own! Church groups, businesses, neighbors and families are encouraged to form teams.
